Social Gifting isn’t just about commerce and local economies. It’s about social good as well. We intend to have several initiatives designed to engage local communities to help solve larger issues.
Non-Profits
As much as we believe in supporting the local economies of the regions we serve (through local vendors), we also believe in giving back. That means partnering with non-profits, with for-profit ventures doing good works, with community leaders to drive the result of benefit in those communities. Not dogmatically, but practically, by discounting services (sometimes free), by designing opportunities for local businesses and organizations to work together, by contributing back.
